The Operations Excellence team within WWRFO drives the execution programs and systems that support that Manager of Operations Excellence leads a high-performing team of program managers owning three distinct tracks: NEU purchasing retail execution systems and promotions and campaigns. You will set the strategic direction across all three tracks own a significant capital systems roadmap and serve as a cross-functional leader across Retail WW and Regional Operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced people manager who builds strong capable teams earns trust across a complex stakeholder landscape and is energized by work that is simultaneously strategic and deeply operational.
- Lead and develop a team of program managers across three distinct tracks. Set clear priorities build knowledge and capability across all three tracks and create an environment where each DRI can grow and perform at the highest level.n- Define and oversee the WW NEU purchasing strategy one of the most strategically visible and operationally dynamic programs in WW Retail. Partner with SDM ASO and Store teams to build evolve and continuously improve the control mechanisms and tooling that manage purchasing behavior at scale across all direct lines of business.n- Own the strategy and delivery of the retail execution systems (the platforms tools and programs that power Apples fulfillment globally). Drive a significant capital systems roadmap from requirements through implementation leveraging AI and automation to reduce manual workload and enhance scalability. Maintain execution accuracy across NPI launches and BAU operations worldwide.n- Partner with regional and commercial teams to drive sales outcomes across WW Retail through the promotions and campaigns program. Ensure promotional execution processes campaign setup and cross-functional coordination are delivered with accuracy and at scale.n- Build and sustain cross-functional partnerships across Retail BPR SDS SDM and regional operations representing the OE team at the leadership level and driving alignment across competing priorities.n- Build a culture of continuous improvement across the team. Drive post ops analysis across launch cycles and major program milestones identifying root causes developing actionable improvement plans and ensuring the teams work compounds over time into stronger systems smarter processes and better outcomes.
8 years of experience in program management operations or supply chain with demonstrated success leading complex global programs in New Product Introductions SDM Order Management or ability to deliver results through others with the leadership instinct to address skill gaps proactively and create accountability and clarity at every cross-functional leadership skills with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders align competing priorities and drive decisions across a complex global matrixed communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex operational issues into clear executive-ready narratives and represent the team at the leadership degree required.
3 years of formal people management experience leading high-performing teams in a complex global to think strategically and execute tactically defining the direction setting the plan and holding the team accountable to delivery without losing sight of the details that natural developer of people who attracts strong talent builds knowledge and capability across all three tracks creates clarity from ambiguity and leaves teams better structured more capable and less reliant on any single person than they found to persevere and adapt under pressure with a positive and professional customer-focused orientation and high levels of discretion integrity and confidentiality.
