This roleis responsible forleading a talented teamwithin thePilot HallE/Eorganization whichfacilitatescollaboration between R&D and Production.Identify analyzerootcauseand resolve issues during the vehicle commissioning process within a production environment. Your teamwill work hands-on with ECUs and diagnostic systems and collaborate cross-functionally to implement sustainable solutions. The teamcombines deep technicalexpertise software development and systems understanding with a proactive and conceptual mindset.Youllcontribute directly to the future of the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV)

• Lead a talented team responsible forSoftware ChangesTechnicalChangeManagementfor electric/electronicand Project reporting
• Hire train andretainan exceptional team.

• Ensure company policies and regulations are followed.
• Defineand track group KPIs to ensurequality volume and cost goals.
• Contribute to theminimalization ofproduction downtime scrap and rework costs.
• Identifytraining opportunities and implement training plans to improve overall organizational capability.
• Manage theverificationand issue analysisprocess helping toensurenew process or product introductions work flawlessly.
• Create and Lead a Cross Functional Team to support Production Technical Development Quality and After Sales -solvingprocess.
• Responsible forVehicleSoftwarechanges for Scout Motors Production. Coordinatethe changes withotherdepartmentslike Production Logistic Quality Development. Present Release notes. Evaluate change timefeasibilityandeffectvolume for part toneedupdates andtime requirements for a software update campaign/vehicle.
• Coordinate forPilot Hall EEdepartment onthe technicalchange management. Inform the team about thecontent ofthe change. Provideinformationforthe evaluationof the team. Collect feedbackpresentresults to uppermanagementand share with LaunchManagementand otherdepartmentsasrequired. TrackChange Status and implementation timing. Ensure changecostsare spent/implemented in a reasonable time.
• Generate the electronic project status report for Pilot include other groups asrequiredto generate the report. Provide amanagementsummary report and highlight the escalation topics on a high level.
• Generate and distribute regular status reports.

Location & Travel Expectations:

• This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia South Carolina
• This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and events.
• Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

• 7yearsprofessional experience withexpertisein car productiondevelopmentand diagnosticsincluding ability to achievestable validationprocesses.
• Bachelors/Masters degree in electrical engineeringor equivalentqualification withfocusonAutomotive and/orelectronic education.
• Skillful at organizational navigation and cross-functional collaboration at all levels; ability to develop effective partnerships and relationships.
• Leadership experience.
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle engineering processesunderstandingofmanufacturingprocessesandpossessesa holistic overview of vehicle concepts and functions.
• Creative and forward thinking.
• Strategic problemsolver.

This is a full-time exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial Base Salary Range: $140000.00 - $170000.00
