You know SEO best practices inside and out and can coach your team to conceive plan and deliver complex projects that drive the business forward. Lead a team responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize Apples presence across AI platforms AI-powered search experiences (e.g. AI Overviews conversational search answer engines) and agentic commerce workflows where AI agents discover evaluate and transact on behalf of usersnOwn the organic search strategy for Apple products and services across several of Apples digital platforms including but not limited to Apples marketing site and online storenBuild mentor and grow a team of technical SEO program managers fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives drive better outcomesnHire coach and develop a team of technical SEO program managers setting clear goals providing regular feedback and fostering an inclusive culture that supports career growth and diverse perspectivesnDefine and own the long-term roadmap for technical SEO AI search and agentic commerce at Apple prioritizing the feature backlog and guiding projects from ideation to production with developer teamsnLead cross-functional collaboration with content marketing product and engineering leaders to ensure SEO requirements are integrated into all digital efforts and product launchesnDrive the working group that develops shared processes and cross-functional operational standards for future platformsnOversee monitoring analysis and reporting on SEO performance AI search trends and agentic commerce developments making data-driven decisions that inform broader search strategy; champion on-page experience grounded in UX/UI best practicesnManage executive relationships inside Apple advocating for SEO initiatives securing headcount and resources and externally with search engines (Google Bing) and AI platform providers
Minimum of 9 years of experience with SEO for a global brand or digital agencyn2 years of experience directly managing SEO technical marketing or program management teamsnExperience with AIO / GEO / AEOnSolid experience managing complex and time-critical technical projectsnIn-depth knowledge of the latest SEO best practices across all significant worldwide search enginesnProficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console Profound seoClarity Ahrefs and Screaming Frog
12 years of experience with SEO preferrednExperience working in the technology and/or e-commerce industrynKnowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript and other web development languagesnExperience with emerging standards such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol) APC (Agentic Commerce Protocol) WebMCP and othersnExperience building or scaling an SEO function at a large matrixed organizationnTrack record of building diverse inclusive teams and developing talent into future leaders
