Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting

Our dynamic Technical Revenue Accounting team plays a pivotal role in ensuringthe accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. We are actively searchingfor an exceptional Manager Technical Revenue Accounting to lead and elevateour processes across our revenue cycles. The ideal candidate will have a mix ofextensive technical revenue accounting experience with a variety of applicationsof ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers and the ability to makecomplex technical revenue matters simple.

Primary responsibilities will encompass leading revenue contract documentationand providing expert pre-consulting fostering the growth and development ofthe technical revenue accounting team performing first-level review of contractrevenue accounting checklists and actively contributing to the design andimplementation of our robust revenue policies procedures and internal controlframework. This role includes collaborating closely with different functionalareas inclusive of but not limited to: Program Managers Financial Planning andAnalysis Accounts Receivable and Contract Managers/Legal.

• Directly manage and mentor a team of two Senior Technical RevenueAccountants providing comprehensive technical guidance and serving as asubject-matter expert for technical revenue. This includes advising oncomplex revenue accounting treatments journal entries standalone sellingprice assessments and other critical technical accounting interpretations.
• Proactively track and analyze contract review throughput andperformance data. Regularly report insights to the Senior Manager andimplement strategic work assignment adjustments to maintain optimalreview pace and efficiency with evolving contract volumes.
• Provide feedback on Technical Revenue Accounting Teams contractinterpretations and application of ASC 606 guidance to relatedstakeholders.
• Prepare and/or review technical accounting contract checklists memosdetailed revenue cycle walkthroughs and other documented positionpapers.
• Foster productive relationships with finance and accounting departmentsto identify and channel continuous improvement opportunities in line withrevenue accounting requirements: automation scale precision andstandardization.
• Partner closely with the Revenue Operations team to ensure all revenue isaccurately reflected recognized and reported in a timely manner eachmonth.
• Contribute to team leadership by inspiring coaching training andmentoring direct reports fostering an environment that embracescontinuous professional development and operational excellence.
• Support in actively identifying evaluating and leading the optimization ofautomation opportunities to enhance our revenue accounting processesdriving efficiency and scalability across the organization.
• Support the external audit process with independent auditors managingand reviewing prepared audit support.

• 4 years of progressive accounting experience with significant exposure torevenue-related topics.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment withcompeting priorities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge and experience with ASC 606 principles and practiceswith the ability to explain complex treatments and options to non-financeand business teams.
• Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement andoptimization initiatives within accounting or finance.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high-growth fast-pacedorganization.
• Prior experience in companies that focus on high-technology or advancedmanufacturing preferred.
• Defense/government contract experience is preferred.
• Big4 background is preferred.
• CPA certification (Active or Inactive) or current CPA candidacy is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Salesforce Slack and Palantir Foundry arepreferred.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
