Manager, Supply Chain Purchasing, Remote

Essential Functions

• Administers all Supply Chain Purchasing functions including transactions for supplies services equipment and office products.

• Collaborates with key stakeholders on Supply Chain strategic integration efforts and execute strategic plans.

• Participates in Supply Chain management developing budgets programs policies and plans. Partners with management to reduce expenses in equipment supplies and services ensuring cost savings and value maximization without compromising patient safety or quality of care.

• Optimizes the use of ERP software and other supply chain automation tools to streamline processes.

• Maintains constructive relationships with suppliers.

• Utilizes dashboard analytics to measure Purchasing effectiveness efficiencies and service levels.

• Implements continuous process improvement strategies including Six Sigma and Lean and manage team recruitment training and development.

• Enforces procurement separation practices in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensures appropriate internal control processes are in place across the procurement cycle functions enterprise wide.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority hire/termination authority performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports.
