About the Position
The Manager of Special Education Programs provides leadership professional development and program management for assigned Special Education programs and staff supervision. Successful candidates will have expertise in evidence-based practices in assessment and instruction program evaluation and special education law.

This position begins the 2026-27 school year.

RequiredQualifications:
Masters Degree in one (1) of the following fields: Special Education School Psychology Speech/Language Pathology Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy School Administration or related field;
Three (3) or more years of work experience in a school setting in one (1) or more of the following fields: Special Education School Psychology Speech/Language Pathology Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy School Administration or related field.

Licenses/Special Requirements:
Valid Washington State Principal or Administrator Certification (or provide proof of enrollment in the certification program within one (1) year of hire date).

2026-27Manager Salary Schedule: Level III - $192803 to $196736 depending on education

Eligibility for SEBB state health insurance coverage is determined by working 630 hours during the school year (Health Dental Vision Long-term Disability Life and ADD Insurance and options for HSA FSA and DCAP). Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by employees who work at least 3.5 hours per day in a continuing position.
