DESCRIPTION:
Guide a successful team of technical sales specialists while supporting strategic growth and market share for Thermo Fisher Scientifics innovative product this role youll develop and execute sales strategies provide technical leadership and cultivate strong customer relationships across academic pharmaceutical biotech and clinical markets. Working in a collaborative environment youll partner with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities implement commercial strategies and ensure customer success. Your expertise will be valuable in supporting and developing talent managing sales pipelines and delivering consistent revenue growth while maintaining Thermo Fishers position as a leader in serving science.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors plus 8 years of progressive sales experience in life sciences biotech or relevant scientific industries
Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences Biology Biochemistry Chemistry Engineering or related scientific field
Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience is preferred
Strong technical expertise in relevant product portfolios and applications
Consistent record of meeting sales targets and supporting business growth
Excellence in strategic planning forecasting and pipeline management
Advanced skills in CRM platforms particularly
Strong presentation communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience working effectively in collaborative organizations
Business acumen and analytical capabilities
Ability to support and develop talent
Proficiency in developing and maintaining customer relationships at all levels
Available for up to 50% travel within assigned territory
Fluency in English required; additional language skills may be needed
Demonstrated commitment to Thermo Fishers core values of Integrity Intensity Innovation and Involvement
Experience with capital equipment sales preferred
Strong project management and organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $112400.00$153350.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
