San Pedro Street Los Angeles CA 90013Setting: Not 100% OnsiteSchedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pmStatus:Full-time/Exempt/ManagementBenefits:Medical Vision Dental Life Insurance 403(b) Retirement plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) :1Summary:The People Concern is funded through the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LAC DMH) and LA Care to deliver Mental Health and Enhanced Care Management (ECM) services. These programs provide mental health treatment case management and care coordination to individuals experiencing homelessness transitioning into permanent supportive housing or residing in permanent collaboration with the Clinical Quality Assurance Leadership team the Quality Assurance Manager will ensure adherence with The People Concerns philosophies and current standards for quality of care and other requirements as defined by Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH) and LA Care. This position will oversee the supervision of the Quality Assurance Specialists and provide project management leadership and training to all staff around quality assurance ideal candidate is technically savvy detail-oriented able to work independently collaborative with team members and staff demonstrates initiative and leadership in designing new protocols and policies and serves as a data champion and support to staff at all levels throughout the Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the agencys adherence to Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LAC DMH) and LA Care Enhanced Care Management (ECM) policies and with the preparation of federal state county and/or city develop and assist with delivery of ongoing trainings and resources to Mental Health staff on Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LAC DMH) and LA Care Enhanced Care Management (ECM) documentation standards and EHR Quality Assurance Specialists through weekly structured supervisions and providing ongoing support growth and accountability of for data collection and monitor and train DMH program staff on Service Request Tracking System (SRTS). Reconcile internal and external data sources to remain in compliance with DMH policies and for the maintenance of Network Adequacy Provider & Practitioner Administration (NAPPA) monthly and as with processing records request received by the with the administration of Electronic Health Record EYXM/ and lead implementation of process improvement monthly and as needed file reviews for COS and Mental Health and consult effectively with all levels of staff in Clinical Quality Assurance Billing Mental Health and any other staff/programs to ensure adherence to policies and scheduled and as-needed internal and external trainings and to The People Concern personnel duties not specified in the position description as requested by the Director or Assistant Director of Clinical Quality :High School Diploma or GED or EquivalentMinimum of three (3) years experience ensuring adherence to Los Angeles County and State standards to chart documentation for respective funding sources specifically Medi-Cal and LA County DMHExcellent written and oral communications skills ability to develop and conduct training sessions and ability to assist with developing policies and procedures: (i.e. data entry/support services)Knowledge of HIPAA standards and practicesKnowledge of Electronic Health RecordPossess attention to detail ability to be thorough and accurateAble to work effectively both individually and as part of a teamStrong communication interpersonal and team building skillsPossess the ability to be a skilled trainer perform virtual (Zoom) and in-person training presentations and develop effective training organizational and project management skills with thorough knowledge of nonprofit service provision and administrationDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work independently and creativelyMust possess a valid California Drivers license and maintain an insurable driving recordPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors DegreeTwo (2) years of leadership/management experience in a supervisory roleKnowledge of Exym or CredibleWork Environment:Primarily indoor office environmentWalk or drive to different local sites at least 25% of the timeRegularly required to sit stand bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 occasion walk or drive to different local necessitate working in busy and loud be exposed to elements like cold heat dust noise and need to bend stoop twist and sit throughout the day.
