The Manager of Project Management leads the planning execution and delivery of a portfolio of projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities. They oversee project managers and cross-functional teams drive accountability and establish standardized processes and governance to ensure consistent high-quality delivery. This role also manages stakeholder relationships monitors performance through reporting and KPIs mitigates risks performs look back analysis and ensures effective resource and budget management while continuously improving project delivery practices.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Project Execution
Oversee and manage end-to-end delivery of multiple complex projects to ensure scope timeline and budget adherence. Includes Platform Development Creative Concepting Core Assets and Tactical project planning and schedule management. Work closely with both internal and external creative agencies Stakeholders Licensed Partners Legal and Vendors.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage coach and develop project managers/senior project managers and cross-functional teams; drive accountability and performance. Drive process optimization and lead to the adoption of new tools systems or ways of working. Facilitate performance evaluations and development plan guidance per UOR policies for all assigned direct reports.
Strategic Planning & Prioritization
Translate business objectives into project roadmaps/schedules; prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively. Monitor day-to-day project activities and resourcing identifying potential instances of underutilization and actively work to address and solve those issues.
Stakeholder/Vendor Management
Maintain open and productive partnerships with peers across M&S and UDX teams to ensure alignment of key priorities. Serve as primary liaison with senior leadership stakeholders and vendors; drive alignment decisions and issue resolution. Includes providing clear concise status updates insights and recommendations to leadership.
Governance & Process Management
Establish and enforce project management standards tools reporting and governance frameworks. Including but not limited to timelines budgets forecasts and financial performance across projects.
Risk & Issue Management
Identify mitigate and escalate risks and issue to minimize impact on delivery.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree from accredited college or university required.
Tools & Methods: Proficient in Agile/Waterfall and standard PM tools (e.g. Workfront Jira Smartsheet MS Project).
CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:
Not required but PMP or any other Project Management certifications strongly preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Advanced project management skills including strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously in fast paced environment.
Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Thorough understanding of studio/graphic arts production and creative workflow processes.
Strong working knowledge and proven experience with print production processes and techniques (artwork pre-press printing.)
Strong working knowledge and proven experience with digital development and production processes and techniques (web mobile social etc.)
Strong working knowledge and proven experience with video production processes and techniques (photo/film shoot AV editing and/or motion graphics development.)
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
