• Establish operations related tothepre-SeriesLogisticsTeamand pre-series Warehouses in Assembly and Bodyshop responsiblefor managing thesupply of pre-series parts to the production line
• Establish and manage the pre-Series LogisticswarehouseTeam. Ensure hiring according to project milestones
• Evaluate the impact on space requirements andpersonnelof newmodelsintroduction and model changes. Ensure resources asrequired.
• Ensure the operation of logistical equipment including the organization and implementation of emergency concepts maintenance concepts reparation concepts pre-series warehouse
• Ensure safety of operations under own responsibility alsotaking into accountecological aspects
• Execution and implementation of theproblem solvingprocess to ensure no production stop due to logistical failures
• Ensureadherence toIATF/ VDA for Audit preparation in within business area
• Supportownprocess control through planning and implementingKPIswith clear responsibility distributioncoordinate problem solving activity in case of deviance from the defined targets
• Analyze and authorize thedepartmentbudget assure itsfulfillmentand develop countermeasures to compensate deviationobservedbyoptimizingor reassigning technical and human resources.

Location & Travel Expectations:

• This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia South Carolina.
• This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and events.
• Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

Youll be comfortable with change and flexible in a fast-paced high-growth environment. Youll take a collaborative approach to achieve ambitious goals. Heres what else youll bring:

• 7 years of professional experience in automotive production and logistics.
• 5 years of progressive experience building and managing teams.
• Bachelors degree in mechanical electrical engineering or related is a plus. An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience in Launch Management
• Strong understanding of Production environment and affinity to work with complex IT-Systems. Proven experience in SAP WMS
• Excellent problem-solving skills andattention to detail
• Extensive experience in managing operational teams and external logistic providers
• Detailed Knowledge and extensive Experience in Quality Management Systems (IATF ISO VDAetc) and related process requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects

This is a full-time exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial Base Salary Range: $120000.00 - $145000.00
