What you will be doing

As Manager Post Separation Services North and West you will lead a dedicated team delivering high quality trauma informed services that support children young people and families navigating separation conflict and complex family circumstances across RASAs North and West regions.

You will lead services that respond to family domestic and sexual violence trauma risk and cumulative disadvantage ensuring families can access inclusive culturally responsive and integrated support. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders including courts schools child protection and community services you will help shape collaborative responses for families with complex needs.

This role offers the opportunity to combine strategic leadership with hands on practice workforce development and sector engagement. You will contribute to service innovation organisational development and community outcomes while supporting a passionate team in a collaborative and values driven environment.

You will play a key role in strengthening evidence informed practice supporting workforce capability and driving continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of post separation services.

Whowe arelookingfor

Classification will be aligned to either EA Grade 7 or Grade 8 dependent on the successful candidates skills qualifications and relevant experience.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A bachelors degree (AQF Level 7) in Psychology Social Work Social Sciences or Law.
  • Post graduate qualification in Family Dispute Resolution or equivalent qualification and Registration as an FDRP.
  • Extensive experience in family dispute resolution and family law services such as family court family relationships services and child contact services.
  • Experience in program management and leadership of teams.

To qualify for this role at Grade 8 you will have:

  • Significant experience in a leadership role.
  • Significant experience in program management.
  • Availability for on call CCS weekend roster across three CCS sites
  • Experience and willingness to present at relevant forums and conferences
  • Experience contributing to Information Team requests
