Job Summary
ThePayments and Fraud Managerwill play a critical role in supporting and enhancingourdebt mitigation processes. This positionis responsible forleading day-to-dayloss prevention driving process improvements and helping to ensure a balance between effectivemitigationand a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will apply data-driven insights and industry best practices toprevent/recoup losses andcreate innovative ways to automate thedepartmentsprocesses.
Responsibilities
- ResolutionManagement:
Evolveresolutionworkflows to limit losses andmaintainstrong relationships withvendorpartners. - Fraud Risk Monitoring& Analysis:
Oversee identification and analysis of fraudulent activities including bonus abuse account takeovers payment fraud collusion and money laundering. Recommendforward thinkingstrategies. - Tools & Technology:
Work withthe product engineering datateamsand external vendors to manage andoptimizemitigation effortsandlowerrates. Provide input on the adoption of AI andautomationwhereappropriate. - Data Analysis & Reporting:
Utilize analytics and KPIs to measure performance adjust controls andincrease efficiency. Prepare and share actionable insights with leadership. - Cross-Functional Partnership:
Collaborate closely with PaymentsOperations Compliance Customer Support Product and Legal teams to implement initiatives that support businessobjectives. - Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team ofanalysts. Foster astructuredculture of accountability learning and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience:35years of experience infraud prevention investigations dispute management;e-commerce background preferred.
- Leadership: 13 years of experience in a people management or team lead role within a fraud or risk function.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity withpaymentsvendorplatforms ( World Pay)and emerging fraud technologies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and decision-making skills; familiarity with SQL Excel or visualization tools preferred.
- Regulatory Awareness:Understanding ofAML KYC and responsible gaming compliance standards.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the iGaming sportsbook or online casino environment.
- Experience with variousfraud vendorsystems and tools.
- Certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are a plus.
The salary range for this position is $95000.00 - $125000.00 USD which is dependent on a several factors including relevant experience geography business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical vision and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation including but not limited to cash bonuses. This role includes paid Personal Time Off and paid company holidays.
