Job Summary

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Financial Planning and Performance Management

  • Support the Budget Forecast and Long-Range Plan processes for Operations including COGS gross margin inventory logistics procurement manufacturing depreciation and Operations-related OPEX.
  • Prepare and support the monthly Operations financial review clearly explaining actual performance risks and opportunities versus Budget Forecast and prior year.
  • Build reliable full-year projections and scenario analyses based on the latest operational and commercial assumptions.
  • Translate operational developments into clear P&L balance-sheet and cash-flow impacts.
  • Identify and escalate material risks deviations and recommended corrective actions in a timely manner.

Gross Margin and Product Costing

  • Analyze gross margin performance including product market and channel mix pricing promotions foreign exchange sourcing freight duties obsolescence and production variances.
  • Maintain a robust view of standard and actual product costs and ensure that all relevant cost components are accurately captured.
  • Partner with Procurement Supply Chain R&D and Marketing to assess new products reformulations sourcing changes and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations on product architecture innovation profitability and portfolio rationalization.
  • Develop actionable plans to protect and improve gross margin.

Inventory and Working Capital

  • Support financial planning and performance monitoring for raw materials components bulk and finished goods.
  • Establish clear visibility on inventory levels coverage ageing excess and obsolete stock destruction risks and provisions.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to balance service levels business continuity and working-capital discipline.
  • Support S&OP and demand-planning processes by challenging assumptions and quantifying the financial consequences of supply and demand decisions.
  • Support initiatives to convert inventory into cash and reduce structural overstock and obsolescence.

Supply Chain and Logistics Performance

  • Monitor and challenge freight warehousing fulfillment and distribution costs by market channel and business model.
  • Develop relevant operational and financial KPIs including service level forecast accuracy inventory coverage logistics cost as a percentage of sales and cost-to-serve.
  • Assess the financial impact and business case of network changes warehouse projects outsourcing repatriation of flows and new operating models.
  • Partner with Operations to identify quantify and track productivity initiatives.
  • Ensure that savings are supported by clear baselines implementation plans and realized P&L or cash benefits.

Strategic Decision Support

  • Build financial business cases for strategic Operations projects investments and transformation initiatives.
  • Support financial assessments of make-versus-buy decisions supplier changes production transfers and distribution-network optimization.
  • Challenge assumptions and ensure that recommendations incorporate financial return execution risks cash requirements and organizational capacity.
  • Support negotiations with key suppliers and shared-service partners through relevant financial analysis.
  • Provide clear analysis and recommendations to Finance and Operations leadership.

CAPEX and Project Governance

  • Support the financial evaluation and monitoring of Operations CAPEX.
  • Ensure that investment requests include a robust business rationale measurable benefits implementation milestones and post-investment reviews.
  • Track project spending commitments phasing and depreciation.
  • Maintain transparency on project returns and ensure accountability for committed benefits.

Financial Control and Data Integrity

  • Partner with Accounting and Controlling teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of COGS inventory reserves accruals and Operations-related expenses.
  • Strengthen financial processes documentation and controls across product costing inventory and supply-chain reporting.
  • Ensure consistency between operational systems financial systems and management reporting.
  • Improve reporting automation data quality and ownership.
  • Support Operations-related systems and planning improvements as the Finance partner.

Leadership and Business Partnership

  • Act as a proactive and credible Finance partner to Operations leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Bring financial discipline while remaining pragmatic solution-oriented and close to operational realities.
  • Coordinate Operations finance topics across global and regional teams.
  • Simplify complex issues and communicate clear conclusions decisions and actions.
  • Develop scalable processes and documentation to reduce dependency on individual knowledge.
  • Provide guidance to support Finance resources and help build scalable processes as the organization evolves

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee may be regularly required to stand sit reach stoop kneel and operate a computer telephone and keyboard.

Qualifications :

PROFILE

You have:

  • 4-7 Years of Experience of progressive experience in FP&A Operations Finance Supply Chain Finance product costing or controlling.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in beauty luxury consumer goods or another product-driven international environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of gross margin standard costing inventory accounting working capital and supply-chain economics.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with operational leaders and constructively challenging business assumptions.
  • Ability to connect operational drivers with P&L balance-sheet and cash-flow outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities sound judgment and attention to detail.
  • Ability to move between detailed analysis and clear management communication.
  • Proven ability to improve processes reporting and financial visibility in a transforming organization.
  • Advanced Excel and financial-modeling skills; experience with SAP Anaplan and business-intelligence tools is preferred.
  • Fluent English required; French or another international language is an advantage.
