Weekly outpatient therapy isnt always enough and a trip to the ER isnt the only answer. Patients and their families rely on CompassHealth Center whenincrisis every day wehelp people overcome depression anxiety suicidality obsessions/compulsions trauma chronic pain and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role

Compass Health Center is seeking a Manager for our Under 18 Programs (Child and Adolescent) overseeing Group Therapy at our Oak Brook facility.

We are looking for an experienced clinically licensed therapist who is passionate about delivering evidence-based group therapy to children and adolescents (under 18) while leading supervising developing and mentoring Group Therapists within the role offers the opportunity to combine direct clinical work with leadership responsibilities making a meaningful impact on both patient outcomes and staff development.

What Youll Do:

  • Assist Associate Directors and Program Directors in overseeing quality of care within all Under 18 Programs (Mood and Anxiety OCD School Refusal and Mental Health Substance Use)
  • Oversight and implementation of program material and curriculum
  • Continued development and refinement of Group Curriculum
  • Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as well as other evidenced-based therapies
  • Oversee and manage group therapy operations. This includes administrative responsibilities as well as mentoring and developing group therapists within the program.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other leaders in the under 18 programs as well as within Oak Brook facility and Compass.
  • Providing clinical supervision for staff working towards licensure
  • Supervising and managing a team of group therapists and mental health professionals
  • Provide Group Therapy
  • Engaging in crisis management as needed
  • Participating in professional development activities
  • As indicated participating in community outreach
  • Schedule conduct and write intakes of new patients to the program as needed
  • Advertise interview hire staff as needed
  • Engage in frequent communication and collaboration with team members via rounds EMR notes emails and face-to-face communication.
  • Writes and delivers performance reviews for the group therapy team
  • Providing primary individual therapy to a caseload of patients as needed

Who You Are:

  • Masters level clinician with 4 years of post-masters clinical experience conducting individual family and/or group therapy.
  • Clinical licensed required: PhD PsyD LCSW LMFT or LCPC
  • Knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing CBT ACT DBT and Motivational Interviewing among other effective treatments.
  • Experience with patients in crisis.
  • Experience supervising mental health workers both licensed and seeking licensure.
  • Excellent time management skills ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Strength in collaborating and consulting with various programs and their differing needs
  • Strong communication skills

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including but not limited to your years of experience type of experience location and education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update these ranges.

This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus which is dependent upon individual and company performance.

Compensation

$70000 - $85000 USD
