Key Responsibilities

About the role

Were looking for a leader to run our software and controls organization. This is a high-visibility high-growth-potential position with broad influence across multiple product lines. Youll set technical and strategic direction for the team partner closely with adjacent engineering and product groups and bring the best of Applieds global network to accelerate our developments.

What youll do

Lead and develop the software and controls engineering teams setting technical direction and execution priorities.

Partner with the algorithms team lead to prioritize initiatives and align roadmaps across distributed teams.

Work across multiple product stakeholders to define clear milestones and delivery targets for each product and hold the organization accountable to them.

Lead globally distributed teams across time zones including offshore engineering centers and drive a coherent strategy across all sites.

Leverage Applieds broader network to identify best practices and scale them across the organization.

Apply AI tools and methods to improve team productivity and product capability.

What you bring

Proven track record leading software and/or controls engineering for robust high-reliability systems such as industrial automation or semiconductor equipment.

Experience running sizable engineering organizations including leading other managers.

Strong stakeholder management across multiple product lines with a record of setting and hitting milestones.

Ideal: Demonstrated success leading geographically distributed teams including offshore/India-based engineering centers across multiple time zones.

Education Requirements

BS/MS in EE CS or related field or equivalent experience

10 years in engineering and 3 years in people management

• Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within own job family and knowledge of other related job families

• Applies in-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the segment/function

• Manages multiple related teams sets organizational priorities and allocates resources

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.

For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
