Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our OR Nursing Manager you will be a dynamic leader guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence.

Every day you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses oversee clinical operations and advocate for patient and team needs driving professional development and achieving unit goals.

To be successful in this role you will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions. Youll skillfully navigate challenges ensuring individual performance and overall unit success.

  • Has the authority to interview hire orient terminate promote train and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Oversees the functional and technical job performance of team members.
  • Allocates and directs staffing needs to meet patient unit and Hospital needs and collaborates with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met.
  • Manages performance including: goal-setting clarifying job expectations monitoring performance progress providing feedback recognize developing skills and addressing performance issues related to work and our Commitments using corrective action.
  • Monitors and oversee Customer and patient engagement growth quality initiatives and patient safety for multiple departments utilizing regulatory and organizational knowledge and policy for multiple areas as separate functions.
  • Coordinates and manages operating systems operational standardization service standards and communication methods in line with system policies and processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing(BSN) and minimum of Three (3) years leadership experience
  • Minimum of Five (5) years leadership experience in the discipline
  • Active RN license in the state of Nebraska
  • Basic Life Support - CPR from the American Heart Association (AHA)


Preferred:

  • Masters Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of progressive work experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA)
