Hours/Shift: Full Time Days on call required at times weekends required at times.

About the Role

As the Manager of Nursing and Patient Care Services youll be responsible for ensuring the smooth effective and compassionate delivery of care within your designated clinical areas. Youll lead by examplemodeling best practices promoting collaboration and driving performance aligned with Sentaras mission of safety quality and patient-centered service.

You would be responsible for Patient Care Supervisors 24/7 Cardiac Medicine Telemetry Unit covering about 60 FTEs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of assigned units or departments

• Foster a high-performing nursing team through coaching mentorship and support

• Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with physicians leaders and staff to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Promote professional development and a positive inclusive work environment

What Youll Need to Succeed

Certification Required:

• RN-Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI

Education Required:

• Bachelors Level Degree in Nursing

Experience Required:

• 1 year Management

• 3 years Nursing

Experience Preferred:

• Cardiac

• Acute Care

• Management in Healthcare Environment

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $121555.20 - $181376.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted it is based on a full-time colleague working 2080 hours annually.
