Responsible for the strategic development operational oversight and growth of the Medical Destinations program. This role leads efforts to attract coordinate and deliver high-quality care experiences for patients traveling to Mercy for specialized services ensuring exceptional outcomes seamless navigation and strong financial performance.

Position Details:

Primarily located at Mercy Smith Glynn Callaway clinic
SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI
FULL TIME
ONSITE

Leads the strategic direction operations and growth of the Medical Destinations program driving efforts to attract and support patients seeking specialized care at Mercy. Ensures a seamless high-quality experience while delivering strong outcomes and financial performance.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business Nursing or related field
Experience: 35 years of experience in healthcare operations program management or patient access/navigation

Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) MBA or related field
Experience: 5 years of experience in program development service line growth or destination medicine/concierge care models
Certification(s): PMP Lean/Six Sigma or related certification

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Physical Requirements
Position requires the ability to push pull and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift
Position requires the ability to grip reach bend kneel twist and squat to perform duties
