Global Supply Planning (GSP) designs and activates upstream supply and inventory
strategies for Owned Brands connecting Planning & Inventory Management Sourcing and
production to enable reliable and flexible supply faster reaction and sustainable growth
for Target. The centralized GSP Operations team provides the project leadership
processes data reporting and operating infrastructure that enable the function to execute
priorities effectively and operate with enterprise alignment.
About the Role
As a Manager Global Supply Planning Operations you will lead cross-functional projects
and initiatives that advance GSPs strategic and operational priorities. You will be
responsible for translating business objectives into structured project plans mobilizing
cross-functional teams driving execution managing risks and dependencies and ensuring
initiatives deliver measurable outcomes.
You will serve as a project leader and integrator bringing together partners across Global
Supply Planning Planning & Inventory Management Sourcing Technology and other
teams to solve complex operational challenges. You will establish clear scope milestones
roles governance and decision-making mechanisms while creating visibility to progress
and escalating issues when needed.
The role combines project leadership with process improvement and analytical
problem solving. You will use data and reporting to identify opportunities measure
outcomes and support decisions while also helping strengthen GSPs operating routines
processes and tools. You will lead multiple workstreams and initiatives simultaneously
and influence teams without formal authority.
Core Responsibilities
Project & Program Management: Lead cross-functional projects and workstreams from
definition through implementation. Translate business objectives into clear scope
deliverables milestones workplans ownership and success measures. Maintain
momentum and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
