Position Summary

TheManagerforSharedBusiness Services works as an integral team member in Business Services. Responsible for the coordination management and day-to-day supervision of payroll financeand business servicesstaffin the assigned local school district(s) or non-profit entity in coordination with theFinanceDirector forSharedBusiness Services (local district)and/orthe Director of Shared BusinessServices(non-profit).May be assigned by the Directorof Shared Business Servicesto serve asbackup for other Managers in Shared BusinessServices.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors degree in accounting business management or related fieldrequired. Coursework in accounting and business management at the advanced level creditbeyondthe bachelors degree a certified public accountant preferred.

Experience:

Minimumfiveyearsof successful experience in business office functions of a K-12 school district or a combination of work experience in a K-12 administrative position and intermediate school district businessorfinancial experience as a K-12 public school business director management and computer technology experience experience ability to supervise and evaluate the work of others prepare complex financial reports work with auditors solve complex problemsand work in a variety of school business office situationsrequired.

Skills/Other:

Ability to supervise and evaluate personnel in conjunction withthe Finance Director for Shared Business Services or the Director of Shared Business Services. Ability to review understand and interpret school law federal and state guidelines audit reportsand MDEreporting requirements. Effective written and oral communication skills including a demonstrated ability to make presentations to to represent the district in a professional mannerat all to use district technology and work tomaintainproficiency as required skill sets change with technology and/or the needs of the district. Ability to work with people andutilizeconflict resolution andproblem-solvingskills. Possess organizational and management skills andcapableof working with and motivating others. Punctuality and good attendance are requirements for the position. Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisionsin accordance withboard policies andestablishedadministrative guidelines.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:$62296 - $85240 annually commensurate with experience and qualifications

Work Schedule: 261 days / 7.5 hours daily

Paid Time Off:
