The Fire Design Team is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for aManager - Engineering Services. This position will be overseeingsixassociates and will report to the Senior Manager - Engineering Services.
Responsibilities
- Manage an office of multi-discipline engineers and designers that provide contract documents for building systems including Fire Sprinkler Fire Alarm Plumbing Electrical Mechanical and HVAC systems. These documents vary by project and may include bid plans permit plans construction documents field plans installation plans engineering judgements and shop drawings.
- Manages the drafting of designs by using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create drawings and designs. Creates production ready drawings and Update detail drawings per client requests.
- Directs and trains support personnel in the preparation of detailed design.
- Manages team of designers (i.e. assigns design projects assists with design questions manages team time etc.)
- Drives collaborations with the design team to review drawings and designs.Manageadjustments to drawings according to feedback from engineers or architects.
- Adheres to design principles to create technical drawings that bring the engineers or architects ideas to life.
- Directs the application of CAD software delivering the ability to conceptualize design with meticulous attention to detail.
- Directs design compliance with company regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications
- 15years of experience in interpreting engineering/architectural drawings and blueprints.
- 7years of Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred
- NICET Certification Preferred

Pay Range:

$8550.00 - $13933.70-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
