Economic Interest
This position has been found to meet the requirements in section 4A-101 of the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act requiring the occupant/employee to file a Statement of Economic Interest. The Illinois Governmental Ethics Act (5 ILCS 420/4A et seq.) requires certain state officials and employees to file annual Statements of Economic Interest with the Office of the Secretary of State that will be made available for examination and copying by the public. All employees required to file a Statement of Economic Interest are also required to file the Supplemental Statement of Economic Interest with the Executive Ethics Commission. (See Executive Order 15-09) Fines and penalties apply to untimely filings.

- Serves as Manager of Cook and Northern Regional Contract Administration
- Serves as full line supervisor
- Reviews evaluates and coordinates the tracking and modification of computer systems connected to the contractprocess and maintenance of centralized Department files for purchase of service grants and Departmentprocurements to ensure effective efficient processing of contract-related information to facilitate the Departmentsability to be proactive regarding potential problems and to respond to audits and inquiries regarding contracts.
- Directs and coordinates the quality control process related to contracts.
- Manages controls and organizes the process of service provider rate determination through individualreimbursable per diem rates for institutional and group home providers and statewide reimbursable rates for fostercare day care and other providers.
- Represents the Department at various private sector and governmental work groups and committees regardingcontract services.
- Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college preferably withcoursework in business or public administration.
- Requires four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization inaccounting contract services or procurement.
- 3 years of professional experience conducting or managing contract monitoring and/or review.
- 3 years of experience supervising professional staff.
- 3 years of professional experience managing teams in multiple locations.
- 3 years of professional experience administering a quality control process for a public or business organization.
- 3 years of professional experience managing the process of service provider rate determination.
- Requires ability to pass a background check.
- Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties. Requires appropriate valid drivers license.
- Per Executive Order 2018-07 requires engagement with Business Enterprise Program (BEP) contractors and subcontractors and support for the goals of the BEP program and the Fair Contracting Task Force when applicable.

Term Appointment:
Candidates hired into a term position shall be appointed for a term of 4 years and are subject to a probationary period. The term may be renewed for successive four-year terms at the Director of the Department of Children and Family Servicess discretion.
