The Manager Business Analytics position is a technical hands-on role. They will optimize the impact of Global Supply Chain programs across stakeholders while using deep analytical insights and machine learning / AI to make data driven decisions and recommendations.

How youll make an impact:

• Collaborate with stakeholders from BUs functions and regions to understand business challenges problems and opportunities. Design develop and implement innovative solutions from idea to incubation to scaling both technical (e.g. metrics dashboards meta-data additions to enhance reporting and analytics) and non-technical (e.g. process changes simplified workflow changes).
• Partner with IT and other software development partners to architect drive design implement operational performance improvement for BUs functions and regions/plants. Continually improve user experience for Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.
• Perform complex data analysis and identify opportunities to improve training processes systems and product data quality.
• Drive the development and manage the execution of art of the possible POC/POV/pilots on a product lines and manufacturing areas to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results and make recommendations.
• Train coach and guide lower-level employees on scaling solutions driving results and change management.
• Lead and establish complex project plans to ensure deliverables are completed to customers expectations using project management tools (e.g. Jira Project Plan Risk Analysis etc.).
• Develop training and documentation materials (e.g. work instructions) for production to enable seamless knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes.
• Create processes and procedures (e.g. SOPs work instructions) for applicable Supply Chain functions.

What youll need (Required):

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field with 8 years of previous related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
• Experience in architecting developing and deploying business intelligence analytics and reporting solutions to internal and external stakeholders

• Experience working in a large manufacturing company
• Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry
• Proven successful project management skills
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Advanced Excel Global Supply Chain and relational databases systems
• Experience in manufacturing systems (e.g. MES ERP) required. Systems such as SCADA asset management and QMS
• Ability to develop compliance processes and procedures
• Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Ability to translate technical information to all levels of the organizations
• Knowledge of database data warehousing or data sciences
• Extensive understanding of supply chain operations
• Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts techniques and standards
• Extensive understanding of quantitative methodologies techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change
• Solid knowledge and understanding with BI reporting data mining or multi-data center applications
• Analytical approach to problem-solving; ability to use technology to solve business problem
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

For California the base pay range for this position is $121000 to $171000 (highly experienced).
