Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. Job Overview
This roleis responsible formanaging and executing procurement category strategiesacrossBusiness Services and IT while serving as a keyprocurement engagement partner to International Markets. Operating in a global matrixed environment the Manager will translate business needs into sourcing strategies support supplier relationship management and help deliver cost service innovation and sustainability outcomes that enable DePuy Synthes growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to build deep categoryexpertise partner closely with global and regional stakeholders and contribute to the evolution of procurement capabilities within a transforming organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution ofcategory strategiesfor Business Services and IT in alignment with business priorities and procurement strategy.
Partner withInternational Market stakeholdersto understand demand align sourcing approaches and ensure consistent execution of procurement strategies.
Manage supplier relationships within assigned categories including performance tracking issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead or supportsourcing initiatives including RFPs competitive bidding events and contract negotiations within defined authority levels.
Analyze spend market trends and supplier data to generate insights that inform sourcing decisions and category plans.
Support delivery offinancial targets service improvements innovation opportunities and responsible sourcingobjectives.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies financial controls and responsible supplier standards.
Leverage procurement tools systems and analytics to improve efficiency visibility and decision-making.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with Finance IT Legal and Business partners to enable successful sourcing and supplier outcomes.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree(Business Supply Chain Finance Information Systems or related field).
MBAor other advanced degree preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
Minimum of6 years of experiencein procurement category management sourcing ora relateddiscipline.
Experience supporting or managingBusiness Services and/or IT services categories.
Working knowledge of sourcing processes supplier management and contract negotiation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend market and supplier performance data.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in amatrixed global environment.
Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiencywith Excel and familiarity with procurement systems and digital tools.
Preferred:
Experience supportinginternational or regional markets.
Exposure to multiyear category planning or sourcing roadmaps.
Familiarity with digital automation or AI-enabled procurement tools.
Experience contributing to continuous improvement or procurement transformation initiatives.
Understanding of sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.
Other:
Language requirements: English;additionallanguages preferred.
Travel: Up to10% domestic and international.
Certifications (preferred): CPSM CIPS or equivalent procurement certification.

Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
