RubinBrown is seeking an experienced Manager Assurance Services to join our nationally recognized Real Estate Services this leadership role youll serve a diverse portfolio of real estate clients while helping grow our Assurance Services practice. This is an opportunity to build trusted client relationships lead high-performing teams and deliver exceptional assurance services within a collaborative entrepreneurial firm recognized for its expertise in affordable housing and other specialized real estate sectors.

Major Responsibilities

• Manage complex assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of real estate clients ensuring exceptional client service audit quality and compliance with professional standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand services and support business development initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on accounting financial reporting auditing and regulatory matters affecting the real estate industry.
• Supervise mentor and develop staff while fostering a collaborative high-performing team environment.
• Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients evolving business needs.
• Review engagement workpapers and financial statements ensuring accuracy quality and timely delivery.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of RubinBrowns Real Estate Assurance Services practice.

Preferred Experience / Background / Skills

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
• Active CPA license required.
• Progressive public accounting experience in Assurance Services including experience managing complex audit engagements.
• Experience serving clients in the real estate industry; experience with affordable housing LIHTC historic tax credits renewable energy Opportunity Zones or other specialized real estate sectors.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP GAAS and financial reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements prioritize competing deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Experience supervising mentoring and developing staff.
• Strong client relationship communication leadership and project management skills.
• Business development experience or an interest in supporting practice growth.

Working Conditions

• Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week in-office.
• Ability to work extra hours as determined by workload and client expectations.
• Travel is dependent upon office location business need and client expectations.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout office.
• Ability to lift carry push pull up to 30-50 pounds.
