Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Location: Bronxville NY
Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday Friday 5x8 Hours
Hours: 8:30 AM 4:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team. The ideal candidate will have strong mammography experience exceptional patient care skills and a commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process
Position patients accurately to obtain diagnostic-quality images
Operate mammography equipment and ensure proper image quality and documentation
Maintain patient comfort privacy and safety throughout procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support accurate diagnoses
Follow radiation safety guidelines and quality assurance procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards

Requirements:

Graduate of an approved School of Radiology required
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
Current ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology required
Current ARRT Mammography Certification required
Strong knowledge of mammography procedures equipment and patient care practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
