Position Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Atlanta GA
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Job Summary:
Provide high-volume breast imaging services including mammography breast ultrasound bone density and breast biopsy procedures in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department.

Requirements:

• Active ARRT (Mammography) certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years recent Mammography experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Experience with Hologic mammography systems required
• Strong high-volume imaging experience required
• No local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Support breast ultrasound and bone density imaging
• Assist with breast biopsy procedures
• Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate positioning
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Follow radiation safety and imaging protocols
• Document procedures in EMR systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and breast care team
• Manage high patient volume efficiently (approx. 100 patients/day)
