Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
  
• Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
  
• May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist Administrative Director or Operations Manager.
  
• Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
  
• May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist.
  
• Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
  
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  
• Demonstrates proper operation of PACS HIS and RIS computer systems.
  
• Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR DR and PACs applications.
  
• Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens infection control and body substance isolation.
  
• Maintains department competencies as required.
  

Compensation:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 Years X-Ray and current MAMMOGRAPHY experience
  
• Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography
  
• ARRT (R) Certification is required
  
• Must have active American Registration of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (M) Certification
  
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred
  
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
  
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
  
• Must have Massachusetts license
  
• Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
  
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.

• Strong communication professionalism and reliability
