We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring patient comfort safety and outstanding image quality. The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality breast imaging procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols MQSA standards ACR guidelines and departmental policies. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging while providing compassionate care and education to patients throughout the exam process.

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols and regulatory standards
• Ensure proper patient positioning technical factor selection and optimal image quality
• Review images for diagnostic quality and completeness prior to submission
• Verify patient identity obtain relevant medical history and prepare patients for exams
• Explain procedures clearly answer questions and provide supportive compassionate patient care
• Maintain compliance with MQSA ACR and departmental quality standards
• Participate in quality assurance activities image review processes and equipment performance checks
• Accurately document procedures and patient information within the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists physicians and breast health team members to coordinate patient care
• Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations or patient reactions
• Maintain a clean organized and properly stocked imaging environment

• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M)
• South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License
• Compliance with South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
