What youll do:

• You will be part of an elite technician team that will work on a wide range of projects from large events to assisting Utilities customers or being part of a turnaround team in a refinery.

• Install commission service and repair Aggreko generators diesel engines electrical distribution equipment HVAC equipment and/or OFA systems.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Major Projects and in service centers. Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.

• Read and comprehend electrical schematics wiring diagrams and service manuals.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of practice and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.

• Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance

You are:

• Home-based opportunity located in any US city with a major airport with up to 75% travel

• Competitive pay with potential for overtime and/or weekends

• Pay Range $30.00-$44.00 an hour with a $2.50/hr. travel allowance annual bonus program

Heres what youll get:

• High school diploma/GED

• 8 years experience working on power generators performing inspections maintenance and repairs

• Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required.

• Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meters amp meters and Hygrometers

• Based on the customer requirements you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card valid drivers license

• Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 75 lbs.

• Availability to work the assignedschedule travel to work locations (if needed) and be onstandbyfor work outside of regularly scheduledshifts

• Must be able to standwalkand sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrainwith functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices

• Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that willpermitwork to be safely performed from ground / floor level tofull overhead level

• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small itemsfunctional hand-eye coordination andfunctionally grip with adequate strength to safelyhold tools and stair railing or ladders

• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment which includes being able to lift (60 lbs) push/pull (80 lbs) carry (60 lbs) climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs) stoop kneel and squat
