Opportunities for AdvancementSTATEMENT OF THE JOBUnder the direction of the Clinical Director the maintenance worker will perform all functions to maintain the physical premises of the programs. Responsible for recycling and garbage collections including compactor operation and placement of refuse in appropriate place for pick-up. Daily cleaning of floors doors windows elevators lobby offices laundry room common restrooms. Immediate availability to ensure timely and complete removal of snow. Unpack supply deliveries and stock them appropriately. Ability to work closely and cooperatively with superintendent to ensure optimum maintenance of the High School Diploma or GED preferred. 1 year experience required. Ability to stand for longer periods of time; able to bend kneel and crouch. Bilingual Spanish/English; Russian/English; Creole/English; Chinese/English; Korean/English speaking preferred. Ability to lift carry push and/or pull weight up to 50 lbs. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends evenings holidays according to the needs of program operation.
