POSITION SUMMARY

On a daily basis provides coordination and administrative support to the Maintenance & Transportation Department by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Clerical support duties
    • Schedules all facility maintenance utilizing a maintenance software program.
    • Inputs maintenance work orders information and generates reports from maintenance software program.
    • Maintains timekeeping files for the Maintenance and Transportation Department.
    • Process receipts and invoices for work orders and credit card statements.
    • Serves as the primary point of contact for procurement activities by coordinating the purchase of supplies parts equipment and services from approved vendors tracking order status and ensuring timely delivery to support maintenance and transportation operations.
  • Miscellaneous duties
    • Responsible for knowledge and implementation of agency and departmental policies and procedures.
    • Presents a positive attitude and demeanor when working with co-workers administrative staff supervisors and/or other agencies.
    • Determines when independent mature judgment decisions are appropriate and when consultation with supervisor is necessary.
    • Accepts and willingly carries out special assignments or duties when requested.
    • Respects the rights of all individuals served.
    • Projects positive image of CHS and individuals served to the local community.
    • Assures the confidentiality of information regarding individuals served.
    • Utilizes the Paycom system to clock in and out and transfer time correctly.
    • CHS policy procedure practice structure is aligned with the agency mission vision and values.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus 1-year certificate from a university or trade school or 1 year of related work experience.
