- Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment saws presses shears punch machines conveyors forklifts and other shop equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and basic electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Install modify and maintain machinery and production equipment.
- Repair welding fixtures jigs guards and shop tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance records.
- Work with production personnel to identify equipment improvements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and ASP safety standards.
- Maintain an organized maintenance shop and manage spare parts inventory.
- Assist with facility maintenance as needed.
- Participation in continuous improvement activities and training
- Keep a clean workspace incorporating LEAN processes
- Adherence to workplace safety regulation including wearing required PPE at all times on the shop floor

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or trade certification preferred.
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing fabrication or welding environment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings equipment manuals and electrical schematics.
- Ability to operate forklifts scissor lifts and other shop equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the 10-hour shift bending squatting reaching pushing and pulling is required throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities
- Work safely around moving machinery welding operations and overhead cranes.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
