Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities1. Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis ( care).2. Complete work orders from guests and hotel associates and record inlog3. Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controlstelevision sets lighting systems and make minor repairs and/orreplacement.4. Make routine repairs on all hotel equipment including small applianceskitchen equipment laundry equipment boilers pool equipment HVAC hand andpower tools and general plumbing systems such as pipe lines toilets andsinks5. Service the hotels pool including adjusting chemicals and cleaningfilters6. Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinetstables chairs doors windows and counters. Paint and finish furniture andfixtures if needed.7. Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions complaints and/orrequests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.8. Perform any other job related duties as Requirements1. Prior maintenanceexperience preferred2. High school diploma or equivalent preferred3. Must be able to work a varying scheduled to include mornings eveningsweekend and holidays
