Job Summary

Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine root causes.
  • Repair and replace defective parts components and systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records work orders and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations company policies and maintenance procedures.
  • Assist with installation setup and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Weld manufacturing weldments together as needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing industrial commercial or related environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Electrical troubleshooting and motor controls knowledge.
  • OSHA safety awareness and lockout/tagout procedures.

  • Stand up to 12 hours daily
  • Walk up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions including exposure to noise heat and moving machinery.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when required.
  • Repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weight up to 50lbs regularly
  • Ability to work overtime weekend and on-call availability based on operations needs.
