Maintenance Technician

Reliable Chevrolet Springfield is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian/Maintenance Technician to join our team in Springfield this vital role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness safety and operational efficiency of our facility ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for both customers and staff. This position requires working 10-hour shifts on Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday. Pay will be determined by experience.

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
• Install/replace light fixtures using lifts.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC issues as needed.
• Ensure all areas comply with health and safety standards and company policies.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials; reorder as necessary.
• Support special projects and facility upgrades as directed by management.
• Report any maintenance concerns or hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Perform routine cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility including offices service areas and restrooms.

• Previous experience in custodial services and/or facility maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication skills and reliable work ethic.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift moderate weights.
