Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintenance of CNC 3 4 and 5 axis horizontal and vertical automated milling machines and manual machine tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair machines manual and automated.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities to keep machines in good repair and identify issues prior to breakdowns.
• Diagnose issues and develop solutions to ensure maximum machine uptime.
• Lubricates and cleans machines.
• Starts devices to test their performance.

Required Skills:

• CNC and manual machine maintenance experience.
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience.
• Mechanical and electrical background in repair/maintenance of manual/automated/semi-automated machinery.
• Experience with preventative maintenance activities.
• Ability to read wiring / ladder diagrams to aid in the troubleshooting and repair on basic systems/machines.
• Have own basic tools.
• Strong work ethic.
• Self-driven.

Required Experience:

• 5 years with various CNC machines.
• Facilities repair experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand on your feet 8 hours 5 days a week.
• Ability to SAFELY and efficiently climb ladders and get in/out of machines.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
