Maintenance Technician Senior
Shift: 1st 7am 3:30pm
Summary
Will perform maintenance functions on CNC equipment manual lathes and grinders (relay logic) plant support equipment to include compressors pumps cooling towers/heat exchanger systems etc. Will perform many of the plant/Equipment P.M.s. Must be well versed in reading of schematics motor controls electrical and hydraulic repair. Additional duties include occasional welding plumbing and fabrication.
Experience
- Must have a maintenance related certificate of education and /or willingness to attend a maintenance education program approved by supervisor.
- Must have 5 years minimum maintenance experience in a machine shop environment.
- Must be able to perform machine repair in a safe and timely manner to reduce machine downtime.
Responsibilities
- Prepare work area by identifying and addressing any safety issues before proceeding.
- Diagnose and repair production equipment
- Clean-up area after performing a maintenance function
- Diagnose and repair plant support eq. (compressors etc.)
- P.M. equipment
