Scotia Village is seeking a Maintenance Technician to be part of our team. Required skills and qualifications:

Five or more years of facilities maintenance experience
Knowledge of electrical plumbing carpentry and HVAC systems
A friendly patient attitude when dealing directly with residents in their homes
High school diploma or GED
HVAC or EPA certification is a big plus

Core responsibilities:

Repair work: fix plumbing leaks repair electrical switches and service broken appliances.
Work orders: daily track and complete resident requests using digital property management software
Preventive maintenance: inspect building systems daily to catch small issues before they turn into expensive emergencies.
Emergency response: answer urgent calls for urgent issues
Unit turnovers: prep vacant units for new residents by making sure units are move-in ready..
