Position Summary
Working under the direction of senior maintenance staff the Maintenance Technician assists with maintaining building systems completing work orders and performing general maintenance throughout the property. This position also operates facility vehicles including a retail utility truck and parking lot sweeper to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
Perform general maintenance including:
Light plumbing repairs
Painting
Light electrical repairs
Basic HVAC support
Carpentry
General facility cleaning and upkeep
Operate a retail utility truck and parking lot sweeper safely throughout the property.
Complete assigned work orders using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Maintain accurate service documentation.
Keep tools equipment and work areas clean organized and safe.
Work closely with Operating Engineers Chief Engineers and the maintenance team.
Participate in technical operational and safety training.
Assist during emergency response situations when required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Trade school vocational training military experience or related coursework is a plus but not required.
Experience with plumbing painting general maintenance or facility operations is preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely use ladders up to 30 feet.
Frequent standing walking bending kneeling climbing reaching and lifting.
Ability to operate company vehicles and maintenance equipment throughout the property.
