At Nekoosa our manufacturing operations typically run MondayFriday which means weekends are generally reserved for maintenance activities projects and occasional on-call facility support. During major maintenance projects or shutdowns overtime opportunities may be available.

Your Impact

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician you will play a critical role in keeping our production equipment safe reliable and efficient.

Youll help us:

• Drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement with a goal of zero incidents
• Improve equipment reliability and preventive maintenance performance
• Reduce downtime through fast effective troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain compliance with safety standards SOPs and 5S practices
• Support maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What Youll Be Doing

• Install maintain and troubleshoot automated production equipment using electro-mechanical skills.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs variable frequency drives (VFDs) pumps motors sensors and power distribution systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Read electrical schematics manuals and technical drawings to identify and resolve issues.
• Document maintenance work accurately in the CMMS system.
• Support shutdowns maintenance projects and reliability improvements.

What Youll Bring

• 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Maintenance certification technical coursework or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of electronic control systems PLCs motors drives and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
