We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain troubleshoot repair and improve electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance diagnosing equipment issues minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused mechanically inclined and works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot diagnose and repair electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while operating equipment and performing maintenance activities.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) corrective repairs and equipment improvement projects.
- Accurately document all preventive maintenance repairs and project work in the Movex maintenance management system.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts scissor lifts and boom lifts.
- Disassemble repair and reassemble production equipment using a variety of hand and specialty tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics manuals and equipment layouts.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete all required documentation.
- Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Properly handle and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Demonstrate teamwork accountability professionalism and a positive attitude while supporting plant operations.
- Assist with additional maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of 480-volt motor controls and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferably Movex.
- Demonstrated skills in mechanical systems electrical systems plumbing hydraulics welding/soldering and basic machining.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts scissor lifts and boom lifts or the ability to become certified.
- Strong computer proficiency and basic mathematical skills.
- Excellent attendance reliability and time management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks including standing walking bending kneeling climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to work at heights using elevated work platforms and in varying temperatures noise levels and other manufacturing conditions.
Preferred
- Technical or trade school degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance Electrical Technology Mechatronics or a related field.
- Industrial maintenance certifications or relevant equipment training.
Pay Transparency
The salary for this position starts at $26.49. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience education/training job-related skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state) if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
