Job Summary
MPS Group Inc.is seeking multipleMaintenanceTechniciansto join our team at theCleveland CliffsFacilitylocated inMiddletown OH. These individuals will be responsible for performing routine maintenance activities as well as daily manual labor tasks in an industrial environment as outlined below.
Shift Details:This position rotates between a 1st and 2nd shift.
Shift: 1st
Schedule:Monday - Sunday 6:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Shift: 2nd
Schedule:Monday - Sunday 2:45 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Services and rebuilds slide gates for the tundishes and ladles in the Caster Department.
- Assembles installs and repairs equipment such as springs guide rails upper & lower frames and hydraulic cylinders.
- Demonstrates use calipers micrometers torque wrenches taps dies & other basic hand tools.
- Works at heights with confidence and commitment to safety.
- Operates powered industrial truck scissor lifts etc.
- Follows company and customer safety protocol PPE usage and reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read analyze and interpret general and technical procedures.
- Consistently adheres to PPE requirements safety rules policies and procedures at customer locations.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations including proportions percentages area and volume.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test and physical.
Preferred:
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year using tools in an industrial setting.
- Minimum of 6 months experience welding.
