Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician 1 will be responsible for building maintenance and a range of basic repairs. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment.

CORE FUNCTIONS

Complete building maintenance and repairs (restrooms lighting HVAC systems painting and pneumatic systems).

Troubleshoot and maintain small tools and equipment.

Partner with Maintenance Tech II for preventative maintenance (PM). This could include changing filters oiling parts minor electrical repairs etc.

Assist in building new fixtures office equipment and other necessary tasks.

Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Support facilities team as needed to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

2 years of working with mechanical systems tools or machines required.

Previous forklift experience preferred.

Skills Abilities and Knowledge

Basic computer skills ability to add subtract divide in all units of measure using whole numbers fractions and decimals.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.

IC
