Schedule Details: Candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts including first and second shifts based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on pool equipment ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on all hotel facilities identifying and addressing potential problems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service addressing maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and generate reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations especially in pool areas.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff fostering a culture of excellence.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in maintenance and hospitality.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance with a focus on pool and heavy mechanical systems.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC plumbing and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for complex troubleshooting.
- Exceptional communication abilities both verbal and written for effective guest and team interactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer skills.
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying equipment.
