Maintenance Technician, Full Time Nights

Additional Job Information

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• 10:30 pm. to 7:00 a.m.
• Shift differential eligible
• Holiday and weekend rotation required by department
• Benefits start first day of employment!

Job Summary:

Provides entry level Maintenance service and responds to service calls throughout the healthcare facility. Performs accurate and effective repairs on equipment and building systems. Calls in more qualified personnel when repairs are beyond his/her capability. Performs other tasks as directed by the General Maintenance Shop Lead and Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Completes preventative maintenance duties on schedule and responds to service calls throughout the facility.

• Assists mechanics and completes minor repairs under the direction of the lead or the supervisor.

• Assists mechanics and completes minor repairs under the direction of the lead or the supervisor.

• Uses personal protective equipment and handles hazardous materials and waste in accordance with safety infection control and universal standard precautions procedures.

• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degrees: High School Diploma or GED

• Experience: None

• License: Valid Drivers License

• Must remain auto insurable based upon the guidelines of Boone Healths insurer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-5 years
