Maintenance Technician JLL
What this job involves:
The Maintenance Technician provides essential maintenance and operational support to ensure a safe functional and well-maintained facility environment in Draper UT. This hands-on role performs general maintenance tasks responds promptly to tenant service requests and supports daily building operations through proactive problem-solving and exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in maintaining a comfortable efficient workspace that directly contributes to JLLs commitment to excellence in property management and client satisfaction.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs including carpentry painting drywall patching door hardware adjustments and other handyman-level tasks
- Handle minor plumbing issues such as unclogging drains replacing faucet aerators and handles fixing running toilets and addressing minor leaks
- Provide basic HVAC support including filter changes thermostat adjustments and initial troubleshooting of temperature control issues
- Adjust and reconfigure workstations including desk height adjustments monitor arm installations and ergonomic workspace setup
- Assist with mail distribution package handling and coordination of deliveries to ensure timely processing
- Provide setup and breakdown assistance for building events and meetings including furniture arrangement and equipment staging
- Respond promptly to tenant work orders prioritize tasks effectively and communicate status updates to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in general maintenance facilities operations or handyman services
- Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing bending climbing ladders and working in various positions
- Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs and occasional after-hours calls.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial building or corporate office environment
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Basic knowledge of building systems and equipment
- Valid drivers license
- Knowledge of hand tools and light maintenance procedures.

Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Salary:
$45700 to $66300
