We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety cleanliness and proper functioning of our facility. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance repairs and inspections to support a safe and comfortable environment for staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility identifying maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Perform basic repairs on plumbing electrical HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Maintain the buildings interior and exterior including minor carpentry painting and landscaping tasks.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs and services.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and order replacements as needed.
- Assist in emergency situations such as power outages plumbing failures or other urgent maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in facility maintenance preferably in a healthcare or residential setting.
- Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and general repair work.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders bending and kneeling.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with facility policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in HVAC plumbing or electrical work.
