Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and appearance of our properties in Bay City and Saginaw. This role includes general maintenance responsibilities with a strong focus on painting repairs and preventative maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is hands-on detail-oriented and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks (e.g. minor plumbing electrical carpentry)
• Prepare surfaces and complete interior and exterior painting projects
• Patch drywall sand prime and apply paint finishes
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Maintain tools equipment and work areas in good condition
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with regulations

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
• Experience with painting (prep finishing different surfaces) required
• Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical and carpentry
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Physically able to lift up to e.g. 50 lbs and perform manual tasks
• Reliable transportation is an asset

• Experience in senior living communities is a plus
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks
