Due to tremendous growth we are seeking an ambitious and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Antioch!

Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician reports to the Property Manager and must be available for on-call rotation. An Atrium Maintenance Technician focuses on completing service requests emergency calls move-in needs and property task(s) that may be needed daily weekly or monthly.

This is a hands-on role focused on maintenance teamwork and high-quality service. Atrium Maintenance Technicians along with all members of our team are also responsible for assisting residents delivering exceptional customer service and making teamwork a top priority.

Location: Preakness Apartments 630 Bell Rd. Antioch TN 37013

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00am 5:00pm with rotating on-call schedule (some evenings/weekends required)

Pay : $25 - $28 per hour eligible for bonuses (estimation based upon experience)

Full time / 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the completion of all service requests
• Appliance repair and installation
• Inspect community continuously recording and correcting deficiencies
• Order necessary supplies and parts within budgetary guidelines
• Perform all general and routine maintenance in the community
• Ensure that all keys are kept properly
• Replace filters and clean air conditioning vents in vacant apartments and occupied units on an as-needed basis
• Perform HVAC troubleshooting plumbing minor electrical carpentry minor drywall repairs and other interior repairs daily
• Service requests made by residents should be completed within 24 hours
• Handle on call duties whenever needed; will carry a cell phone on a regular basis
• Replace breezeway light bulbs as needed
• Assist with apartment make-readies (includes painting repairs cleaning wall/sheetrock repair lock changes etc.)
• Order supplies; communicate and coordinate with vendors
• Assist in the distribution of flyers and other materials
• Assist in picking up litter & maintain small amount of grounds
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Keep inventory
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Property Manager

What Were Looking For

• Experience: Strong knowledge in HVAC plumbing carpentry electrical painting drywall masonry and appliance repairs and installation (dishwashers stoves refrigerators etc.). Appliance repair experience is a big plus!
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Adaptable and dependable. Resourceful. Must have the ability to interact effectively with prospects residents peers and management.
• Hard Skills: Basic computer skills including email. Experience with property mgmt software (ex Appfolio Yardi Knock etc).
• Mindset: You take PRIDE in your work and in your community! Positive attitude. Desire to work as a team with ability to work independently on occasion.

• HVAC certification is required (EPA Universal CPO certification and REAC inspection experience preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician
• Must be reliable professional and available for after-hours emergency on-call responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills including email and some Microsoft products
• Reliable transportation and valid Driver License.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
